    Wednesday, October 7

    Location: The University of Utah in Salt Lake City. As of now, the university has not reversed its decision to hold this debate.
    Time: 9-10:30PM
    Where to watch: All of the major networks will be airing it, including CNN, Fox News, CBS, ABC, C-SPAN, NBC and MSNBC. The New York Times will livestream the event as well.
    Moderator: Susan Page, Washington bureau chief, USA Today
    Details: The debate will be 90 minutes long and have no commercial breaks. It will be divided into nine segments of 10 minutes each.

  • DCWC Monthly Meeting

    This month’s speaker is Kristy Fogle, President of The Maryland Progressive Healthcare Coalition.

    Ms. Fogle is a physician assistant, practicing emergency medicine in the Baltimore area for the last 8 years. She is a healthcare activist and, in 2019, founded the Maryland Progressive Healthcare Coalition which brought together over 30 state and national progressive organizations, focusing on Medicare for All legislation. This year, she became senior healthcare policy advisor to the Jill P. Carter for Congress campaign. She is currently working to bring together leaders from all statewide M4A coalitions in an effort to build grassroots power nationally around Medicare For All.

    Ms. Fogle will be discussing how to improve the healthcare outcomes for all Americans, especially in reference to the Coronavirus outbreak and its negative impact on the nation’s economically challenged residents.

    Location: Belmont University in Nashville. As of now, the university has not reversed its decision to hold this debate.
    Time: 9-10:30PM
    Where to watch: All of the major networks will be airing it, including CNN, Fox News, CBS, ABC, C-SPAN, NBC and MSNBC. The New York Times will livestream the event as well.
    Moderator: Kristen Welker, NBC News White House correspondent and co-anchor of “Today Weekend”
    Details: The debate will be 90 minutes long and have no commercial breaks. It will be divided into six 15-minute segments that the moderator gets to choose and is expected to announce at least a week before the debate.
